Abel Tasman Kayak & Walk

One of the only places in New Zealand where native forests meet empty golden beaches and home to one of the great walks of New Zealand; Abel Tasman is a must-see and what better way to explore it than by kayak.

Why we love Able Tasman Kayak & Walk
It is said that the best way to experience Abel Tasman is by kayak, and we certainly agree. With this tour you’ll get to spend half your day kayaking and the other half exploring this serene spot by foot. It’s a great way to see as much of the National Park as possible; including its abundant wildlife.

    About this activity
Launch your kayak in the crystal clear waters of Marahau and paddle your way to Watering Cove. After enjoying a delicious complimentary lunch; swap your paddle for a pair of walking boots and explore Abel Tasman on land. As you kayak along Able Tasman’s amazing coastline, you’ll get to see the Astrolabe islands up close. While you’re paddling you can encounter some of the area’s cheeky seal and dolphin population. There’s plenty to see on land too – Abel Tasman National Park houses an array of birds such as tüï, pükeko and of course the loveable little blue penguins.
