Dust off last night’s cobwebs, we’re off to Port Macquarie to visit our fluffy Kolala friends at the Kolala hospital. You’ll have time to grab some lunch before we make our way up the stunning New South Wales coastline to Spot X Surf Camp for the night. Head down to the beach and spend the afternoon exploring the white sandy beach and even squeeze in a quick dip. Share some laughs and a delicious dinner before getting a good nights sleep, as tomorrow morning, it’s your turn to hit those waves!

Drop your bags and hit the surf with your instructor; with soft break and perfect waves, they will have you riding those waves like a pro in no time! After a well-deserved lunch at Spot X we will head off along the coastline, with plenty of scenic stops, as we make our way to Byron Bay. Byron, known for its laid-back vibe and chilled location, has been a traveller hotspot for some time. We will have a drive through the beachside town and pick an awesome place to watch the sunset.

Today is your day to do all things Byron; hire a bike and cycle to the most eastern point of Australia, show the locals your new surf skills, kayak around the cape to spot some of the local marine life or have a day by the beach and sample some of the local delights at one of the quirky cafes. Looking for an adventure? Strap yourself to a stranger and jump out of a plane above some amazing scenery at 15,000ft. Why Not?!

We have a late start today as our journey takes us into the state of Queensland, known for the tropics, adventure and some pretty cool wildlife. We’ll stop off at the Gold Coast before heading into Brisbane for lunch. In Brisbane, we’ll have a free afternoon to relax at the lagoon, wander around the local boutiques or head to the world’s largest Koala sanctuary. Wind-down in the evening with a few beers and some delicious food at a local restaurant and tell the rest of your group how you spent the afternoon.
