Saturday / DAY 1
CHRISTCHURCH TO FRANZ JOSEF
Today is the start of our South Island travels together, get your adventure shoes on as we depart Christchurch at 9.30am heading for the dizzying heights of Arthurs Pass and the stunning snow-capped Southern Alps. We’ll have a brief stop in Hokitika and explore the area before cruising over the spectacular scenery and arriving into Franz Josef – the gateway to glacier country.

Sunday / DAY 2
FRANZ JOSEF GLACIER
After breakfast, it’s ice o’clock. We’ll hit the Franz Josef Glacier where you can hike, helicopter, or both. These stunning formations made over thousands of years, or as Maori legend has it, from a lost lover’s tears, will have you weeping with joy. Want something different? Try your hand at quad biking or kayaking in this beautiful setting. Afterwards, celebrate your cool adventure with some ice in your drink.

Monday / DAY 3
FRANZ JOSEF – QUEENSTOWN
After breakfast, prepare to be dazzled as we take one of most spectacular natural drives in the world. Travelling along mile after mile of rugged coastline, we hit the Haast Pass where ancient rainforests, icy blue glaciers and booming waterfalls collide to create a stunning kaleidoscope of natural scenery. After a brief stop in the picturesque Wanaka, it’s time to catch your breath – we’ve just landed in beautiful Queenstown – the adrenaline capital of New Zealand.

Tuesday / DAY 4
QUEENSTOWN & MILFORD SOUND
Today we cruise around the fiord at UNESCO-listed Milford Sound. Here, mountains rise, dolphins leap and water tumbles. Not just a driver favourite but this is a traveller must see. You will forget all about that early start and long drive the moment you enter the National Park. After all that, kick back with a beer, drop into a party or devour NZ’s most famous burger – the Fergburger!

Wednesday / DAY 5
QUEENSTOWN
Action awaits. Go off-piste and make up your own itinerary. Choose from adrenaline pumping activities like bungee jumping, canyon swings or quad biking. Define gravity and try one of New Zealand’s most scenic skydive spots. Maybe hit the trails for a mountain bike, go luging or take a jet boat up the canyon.

Thursday / DAY 6
QUEENSTOWN – MT COOK
Don’t feel blue about leaving Queenstown today, because we’re off to bigger and better things. We’ll be checking out the iconic Mt. Cook, New Zealand’s highest peak, and its surrounding glaciers. Known as Aoraki to the Maori, the mountain stands at a mind-numbing 3,724 metres (that’s 12,218 ft for you Europeans), but don’t worry we won’t be climbing to the summit – there are plenty of short walks and glacier hikes to choose from. We’ll wind up the night with a bit of stargazing in this beautiful National Park.

Friday / DAY 7
MT COOK – CHRISTCHURCH
After a final brekky, we’re off again. we have a brief stop in one of New Zealand’s most insta-worthy spots. With its stunning, turquoise waters and mountain views, it’s Lake Tekapo, snap a pic of the Church of the Good Shepherd or grab a coffee, then we are off, back to where it all began – Christchurch. If you have some time, check out the cool pop-up cafés and grab a souvenir from one of the quirky shops. Unfortunately, this epic journey is at an end. Fear not, we’ll hug it out and leave with stacks of great memories.

Saturday / DAY 8
CHRISTCHURCH – HANMER SPRINGS
First stop this week is the beautiful resort town, Hamner Springs. The ultimate destination for adventure, relaxation and indulgence, this picturesque alpine village is full of exciting things to do. Best known for its natural hot pools and stunning landscapes, you’ll get the chance to try out all of those outdoor adventure activities that NZ is famous for, before indulging in the famed 20+ natural hot pools surrounded by native trees.

Sunday / DAY 9
HANMER SPRINGS – KAIKOURAÂ
The next stop on your tour is the passionate community of Kaikoura. There are very few places in the world that can boast of such natural wonders as those offered by land and sea in Kaikoura. The dramatic, rugged cliffs on the edge of town are as impressive as the whale watching and dolphin swimming. Make sure you get some time on the water and experience some of NZ’s most abundant sea life.

Monday / DAY 10
KAIKOURA – ABEL TASMAN
After a morning swim, we venture up the Kaikoura coast. We’ll explore the Marlborough Wine Region and have a sip or two of it’s world-famous Sauvignon Blanc before heading through the seaside town of Picton and off towards arguably New Zealand’s most beautiful National Park, Abel Tasman. This little piece of paradise can be explored in so many different ways: by kayak, water-taxi, walking or sailing. There are so many things to do, but don’t worry, we have plenty of time here to see the best spots.

Try out the only skydive in New Zealand that allows you to see both the North and South Islands or give Abel Tasman’s canyons a go!

WEDNESDAY / DAY 12
